New Generation Knife Gate Valve

A-C Valves Knife gate valve features a solid one piece cast body in corrosion resistant stainless steel. Compact wafer configuration to TAPPI standard face to face. Designed to handle dense mixtures of stock and slurries. Non-clogging full port design.

This type features a replaceable resilient seat for two-way drip tight shutoff. Available in sizes from 2" to 24" diameter - 150 PSI working pressure. Flanges match ANSI 16.5-150 LB standard with all holes tapped.

Valve Operators

Handwheel

All A-C valves are provided with handwheels as standard. Valves can also be furnished with handwheel extensions and floor stands.

 

Lever Operator

A-C valves quick opening lever operators can be provided in lieu of handwheel on knifegate series, 2" -12" sizes

Electric Motor Operator

When remote, auto, or frequent operation is required. Several makes of electric, air, or hydraulic motor drives are available

Bevel Gear Operator

Designed to minimize the effort needed in manual operation of larger valves in hard to reach locations. 3:1 ratio for 14" and 4:1 ration for valves 16" and above. Permanent lubrication.

Cylinder Operator

Any variety of air or hydraulic cylinder operators can be provided where this type of remote operation is needed.

Chain Wheel

Chain wheels are an efficient means of operating overhead and out-of-reach valves. Mount to regular handwheels. Chain guides are provided.
