Cryogenic
Valves
(-425° F
-254° C)
MCF
cryogenic ball valves combine value and performance in a direct mount
ISO type body configuration that includes:
A solid (one piece) stainless steel stem to ensure ball rotation in
high torque cryogenic service. There are no body welds or stem
pins to break. Stem extensions and valve pads with matching ISO
type machined surfaces maintain true stem alignment allowing actuators
to be added with ease. A unidirectional valve, the ball seals on the
down stream side, and a relief hole on the upstream side maintains
up stream line pressure in the cavity. Optional seat and seal combinations
allow a wide choice of bubble tight closure.

Root
Gauge Valve
It's
the best three piece root gauge valve connection to combine lower
installed cost, block valve integrity and Inline maintenance capability.
A 5" long Schedule 160 root connection with either a 1/2"
or 3/4" male NPT inlet forms the base end piece for an MCF ball
valve designed to meet ASME/ANSI B 16.34 criteria. A 316 SS bar with
three female 1/2" NPT outlet ports for pressure gauges, pressure
switches, hoses, sampling, transmitting or recording devices completes
the three piece configuration. Options include weld end root connections,
special threads, manual or automated service and four or more outlet
ports.

Jacketed
Valves
MCF
jacketed valves inherit the same outstanding quality features found
in our standard industrial ball valve. These include forged 316L stainless
steel body construction - a self adjusting stem assembly with saddle
type lock washer-pressured loaded seats and encapsulated seals. In
addition, a constant supply of steam or warm media circulating in
an "envelope" around the body and/or end pieces allows highly
viscous substances such as sulfur, asphalt, tar, paste or wax to be
maintained at a temperature consistent with good flow characteristics.
Conversely, cooling fluid may also be used to maintain media temperature.

C.I.P.
Valves
Clean
In Place valves with purge ports for Inline cleaning
are available in Steam, Micro-Clean and Tank Bottom configurations.
Periodical use of this sanitizing feature as a supplement to routine
maintenance programs saves both time and money. It's fast efficient
and reduces the amount of residue or contaminates that can accumulate
in valves without purge ports. C.I.P. valves incorporate many of the
outstanding features and benefits which are standard in all MCF valve
products. They include: forged steel construction, self adjusting
stem assembly, choice of seats, fully encapsulated body seals, and
one bolt removal for Inline maintenance.

Manifold
Valve
MCF
multipurpose ball valve manifolds incorporate MCF's quality ball valves
in an innovative modular configuration with two or three valves to
a unit. It's easily installed, maintained, automated and reliably
effective in almost all gathering, blending and dispensing applications.
Features include: quality bar construction in CS 105 or 316 SS. Regular
or ISO center sections for manual or automated service.
(Fully polished valves are also available.) A full range of
seat and seal materials. End connections in NPT,SWE,BWE,TBW,KCE or
Compression etc. A spool piece allows expansion of modular units to
fit the most complex application.

Micro-Clean
Valves
A natural extension of our standard design, MCF Micro-Clean ball valves
combine a corrosion resistant 316L forged stainless steel body with
your choice of bubble-tight seat materials (PTFE, high temperature,
etc.) fully encapsulated body seals (standard) and smooth bore end
pieces (Quick Connect or Tube Butt Weld). All wetted parts are meticulously
machined and polished to tolerances benefiting ultra clean service
applications. Manual or automated, MCF Micro-Clean ball valves provide
fast, reliable, contaminate free, flow control in both 2-way and 3-way
valve configurations. Micro-Clean valves are especially effective
in high purity gases, fluids and vacuum service.

Thermal
(Transfer Fluid) Valve
650°F -343° C
Responding
to customer's needs MCF Valves teamed up with Dupont to develop a
seat material specifically for thermal fluid applications. Creep resistant,
compliant and yet stable enough to be precision machined into MCF
valve seat and stem seals, third party test results and extensive
field performance studies confirmed Vespel® a success. After 15,000
test cycles, MCF's three piece ball valve showed no external leakage
and had met the ANSI. FCD 70-2 specification for Class VI internal
leakage. An operating bonus Vespel's® low coefficient of friction
allows MCF Valves to utilize smaller less expensive actuators in most
applications.

"Full
Flow" Tank Bottom Valves
Full flow tank bottom valves are the right
choice for bottom line efficiency. Designed and engineered to give
fast, unrestricted drainage of tank media, MCF tank bottom valves
combine a forged steel tank bottom flange with all the features of
MCF's standard ball valve. The result is a highly efficient tank bottom
performer backed by 30 years of solid world wide ball valve experience.
Stronger and lighter, MCF tank bottom flanges in either carbon or
stainless steel let you achieve a maximum amount of media agitation
with as little "dead space" as possible. Standard valve
components make delivery of MCF tank bottom valves very short - "off
the shelf" to a few short weeks.

Multiport
Valves
(Manual or Automated)
MCF
Micro-Clean ball valves are available in 3-way 2-port or
3-way 3-port configurations for application in:
- Mixing
or Blending
- Flow
Diversion
- Recirculating
Systems
- Cycling
Applications
Important
Note:
Because
the 3-way ball/seat closure is effective only at the two end ports,
media should enter the (TH 180) valve configuration through the center
or intervening port. Media allowed to enter through either of the two
end ports while the valve is in a 3-way 2-port horizontal position will
create a leak path around the ball and exit through the center port
which may not be acceptable to the application.
